What is Pwnage Tool

Pwnage tool is the Apple Mac based application, which allows the users to jailbreak there iOS devices, jailbreaking is the first step to do carrier unlocking of the iPhone, usually called unlock iPhone.



What does Pwnage tool does? It helps to modify iPhone firmware(IPSW files) of Apple, so that the user can use this modified firmware to restore there iPhone, and than they will have jailbroken iPhone with Cydia installed on it. Once you have jailbroken iPhone, to make the carrier unlock, simply install Ultrasn0w from Cydia and your phone is ready to be used on any GSM carrier.
